The Blue Nirvana Blue District, The Ring
Entering through the heavy wooden doors decorated with relief sculptures of flirtatious nude cherubs, visitors find themselves in the tiny waiting room of the upscale brothel and bar, The Blue Nirvana. Only a single, plush red velvet bench sits in the small area, and the walls are covered with a darker, more rich red velvet. Opposite the wooden entry doors is the floor to ceiling black velvet curtain visitors must pass through to reach the main sanctum.

Once inside, light piano music fills the dimly lit air of The Blue Nirvana main sanctum. Unlike the cold steel found in so many other places on the Ring, the walls of the sanctum are covered in plush red velvet curtains and Arborenin cherry oak trim. Larger than the entryway would lead outsiders to believe, this main area is actually two stories tall, the lofted ceiling covered in similar Arborenin oak planks and golden trimmings that flow into several ornate crystal chandeliers that outstretch almost a dozen feet each. A grand piano sits at the far corner of the room, and various love seats and couches made of the same wood and crushed red velvet cushions rest in various positions for privacy or presentation.

A few of the Blue Nirvana's prostitutes relax on these couches, dressed in immaculate, fancy clothing that is sensual but not overtly obscene. Across the back wall is a long bar, again fashioned from the Arborenin wood, where a bartender serves drinks from thousands of bottles, vials and containers lining the wall behind him. The space above the bar is a balcony stretching the entire length of the room, the upstairs wall lined with more heavy, fancy wooden doors that lead to the private chambers of business. The red carpeted staircase gently descends and curves towards the center of the room from the wall to the far right.

Lincoln 's been rather quiet lately. No messages to anyone. No going out besides work. He's still all smiles behind the bar, but it's definitely his bartender face. His hair's pulled back, and his outfit tonight is sharp, expensive, but not flashy. There's a few customers on the couches, but none at the bar currently.

Klaudea doesn't really come to the Blue Nirvana that often, usually she meets Lincoln somewhere else. But he's been quiet for awhile, and that, on top of Ithaca leaving, are enough to concern her. She looks like she's snuck away from one of her mother's obligatory functions, and although the dress doesn't show as much leg as the blue one did, it's still fancy. Glancing around, she notes the couches, first, then walks towards the bar.

It's been a few days since Kieran had spoken with Linc. Last time they spoke he was rather worried about the man. He strides in, wearing the usual black leather jacket and red, button-up silk shirt. He looks deep in thought, muttering something to himself as he surveys the room, noting Linc at the bar. He doesn't say anything to Klaudea, it's quite feasible to assume that he just didn't notice her. "Linc… I need a drink." He says, looking slightly in shock.

Lincoln looks up, and gives a smile to both as they enter. "Hello Klaudea, Koth." He'll flip a glass up for Koth, "What'll ya have tonight?" He'll look over to Klaudea and motion to the empty glass, a silent question if she's gonna have one too.

Letting Koth head over first, Klaudea simply nods to Lincoln, watching him as he talks with the other man. She slides up on a stool nearby, waiting quietly for the drink.

"The strongest thing you've got… and then some." Is all he says to Linc, looking over now to Klaudea who's just arrived. "Oh… hey Klaudea." He says to her, giving her a brief smile. His eyes widen for a second. "Oh uh… how are you two doing tonight?"

Lincoln raises an eyebrow, but nods, reaching down and pouring Koth a glass of something clear and strong. Linc looks over to Klaudea to see about a drink, "Want your regular?" Meaning, something not very strong. He'll nod, his face smooth, "I'm doing fine. Still breathing."

"Whatever you have on tap is fine," Klaudea affirms as she nods to Koth's acknowledging her presence. "That's more what I came to ask Lincoln," she replies quietly. "You kinda dropped off the radar," the last is directed to the bartender as her attention returns to him once more.

Kieran takes a big drink of whatever it was and shakes his head. "Whew… That is strong." he comments on the drink, looking over at Linc and Klaudea, listening for Linc's answer.

Lincoln turns and pours Klauea an ale. He'll smirk slightly, looking at Klaudea's dress, "You got all dolled up to come check on me? I'm flattered." Dark eyes go to Koth as he comments on the drink, "Too strong?" And then back to the squire, "I'm fine. Like I said, still breathing."

Klaudea chuckles to Lincoln. "I snuck out, but I thought another nice dress and a little leg might cheer you up," she tells him, leaning on her elbows on the bar as he pours for her, then settling back down in her seat as he pushes it forward. "Breathing doesn't necessarily mean 'fine'," her response is flat and skeptical. "I know that one for a fact. Breathing just means alive."

Kieran listens to the conversation for now, not saying anything. When Klaudea mentions the dress however, he eyes her up and down for just a second before looking wide eyed and taking another drink. "No no… this is perfect, Linc. It's been a rough couple of days." He continues to look at Linc, silently asking the same question with his eyes that Klaudea asked him.

Lincoln chuckles, smirking at Klaudea, "It's very nice, thank you." He'll quirk an eyebrow at Koth, "Looks like it. Let me know when you want another." His own look is questioning back to the noble before looking to Klaudea, "Eh…Breathing's the first step, right?" He'll flash her a bright smile, "I'll take what I can get."

Giving a smile, and even tilting her chin up a little snootily to complete the 'upper crust citizen' picture, Klaudea replies, "you're welcome." Then she settles back down, her expression becoming a little more serious. "Something's up. I know I'm not your biological sister, but you're still like family to me. I care about you. And I know there's something you're hiding… you're smiling too brightly."

Kieran and Linc had this discussion a few days ago, he's hiding something. He takes another drink finishing it. "I'll take another…" He says blinking a few times. He may have overestimated his drinking abilities, as he feels the alcohol taking it's effect slowly. He looks between the two others as they speak, very curious to hear Linc's answer.

Lincoln does take another peek at klaudea before shaking his head. The mention of sisters has Linc smooth his face. He really doesn't want another sister, seems like that doesn't end well for him. "I'm not smiling any different than normal." He totally is. The bottle is picked up again to pour Koth another drink, "Want an ale chaser?"

Klaudea's face isn't so smooth. It never is, and the hurt when he pushes her off isn't too hard to read. She pushes her drink back towards him. "Yes. You are," she says firmly. "You aren't fooling me, and it hurts more when you lie about it, as if I'm just another customer that you play pretend emotions with." She doesn't even peek towards Koth, and the legs of the stool scrape a little as she shoves her stool back from the bar. She reaches down to the clutch around her wrist and pulls out her card, handing it over to pay, even though she's barely touched the ale at all.

Kieran watches as the two of them continue to talk, frowning as things are going sour. Normally, Kieran wouldn't say a thing… but he's had a very strong drink just a minute ago. "No… no, don't leave. Linc isn't telling the truth. There's something going on with him, but he won't tell me either… and we're like best friends." He starts talking, not catching up with him that perhaps he could have said that better.

Lincoln's hand tightens on bar's counter top, his jaw following suit. "I'm bartending….Klaudea, Koth. I'm here to listen you patrons' woes….Not the other way around." Six…If Ren walked in on this….Linc doesn't reach for the card, instead gives Klaudea a level look, "I'm not…ok…But I will be." Glancing over to Kieran, "I'm better than I was…I swear." That seems true enough, he's not shaking anymore, like last time Koth saw him.

"The only patrons I'm seeing right now are sitting on the couches, or I woudn't have asked," Klaudea replies, then she shakes her head. "You know where I am, and you have my number. That's what friends are for, you know. You call them when you're not okay and they bring you cookies and… and beer or whiskey… and they sit with you or make you soup or… whatever. You don't have to get better all alone." She still stands up, even with the encouragement to stay. "When is your shift over?"

"What Klaudea said!" Kieran says, pointing at her. "That right there… Friends tell friends stuff. I tell you all my stuff!" He says, the next drink forgotten for now, probably for the best. "I believe you are better then you were, but you said it was only going to be a few days!"

Lincoln's voice drops, quite a bit, "Ren is in his office." His eyes glance over to the door behind the bar. He'll swallow, "Klaudea…please…I'm ok. It's just been rough with Rook taking off…" It's part of the truth, anyway. Linc doesn't point out that Koth tells him everything underneath the guise of Linc's work. Pursing his lips slightly, he'll eye Koth, "I am better, I swear." He'll set an ale in front of the noble. He'll finally answer Klaudea, "Normal time, about 4. Unless I get a request."

Klaudea nods once. "Fine. I'll be at your place at 4:15," she tells Lincoln in that woman's tone that isn't going to be argued with. "I'm sure it has been rough. And you should have called me." She taps her card at him. "For now, I better get back before Mom notices I'm not making nice with everyone."

Without thinking Kieran takes another drink of the ale placed in front of him. At the moment Klaudea is a few steps away from the bar, Kieran is sitting on a barstool, and Lincoln is behind the Bar. The alcohol was working /much/ faster then intended. "No, you're /not/ better." Kieran points at Lincoln. "You're hiding something from me and you know it!" He says, his eyes beginning to show signs of the alcohol. He's not drunk yet, but well on his way.

She is like a wraith. Coming and going from the Blue Nirvana like a spectre returning to its grave. The employees barely bat an eye and the regulars too deep in their cups do much the same. Silver Rickard is an actress and known in some parts, but she's yet to break big. Not like Jane Wyre, oh no. Silver has a ways to go before she could be so fortunate to have her name and face recognized in every corner of the system.

There is something different in the air of the woman when she enters, however, and she is more like the spectre she envinces with her gliding, effortless motions. She wears a long, tunic-styled sweater of a deep green, sleeves terminating just beneath her elbows. Rather than the leggings she oft wears, loose slacks flow about her legs in a lightweight fabric. Her hair is gathered in a braid at the back of her neck; loose, but secure.

Her goal is simple and singleminded; a tablet clutched in her hand. There's a second's pause once the woman is well within the bar; storm-hued gaze sweeping about. When she spots Lincoln, she adjusts her trajectory to head right for the portion of the bar he currently haunts.

Lincoln looks slightly annoyed, as Klaudea's not even his girlfriend. She should be allowed to just order him aournd. But he's not gonan make a scene, well…not more of one anyway. "Ok." He'll raise his hands almost in defeat, "4:30 though. i need to pick some stuff up at the store on the way home, ok?" He'll just wave off her card, she didn't even touch the ale. Linc doesn't respond to Koth at first, instead he studies the man, "Dude…are you ok? you don't usually…" He motions to the alcohol. When the door opens, link watches who comes in and gives a smile and nod to Silver. Although seems a touch surprised when she makes her way over to the bar, and not her normal table.

Klaudea frowns slightly at the waved off card, but she picks it up and stows it away. "All right, then. 4:30…" she trails off and looks at Kieran, her brows drawing together into a frown. She opens her mouth to make a suggestion, but then someone else is coming to the bar. The unknown woman is given a glance and a distracted smile as she zips her clutch shut. "I'll see you, then." One last glance goes to Kieran, then she turns and walks for the door.

"Oh, I'm fine, Linc. Promise, never been better." He says, trying to mimic Lincoln. It wouldn't take too much of an imagination to assume that something is bothering him. "I broke a rib for you, and you can't even tell me what the matter is!" He says, taking a drink of his ale again. As Klaudia steps out the door he mutters to himself. "She's cute…" And that's when he notices the unfamiliar woman walking straight for Lincoln.

There's something of a glance for Klaudea as she departs and, not knowing her, Silver simply offers a slight nod. The woman makes it up to the bar and, in closer proximity, Lincoln might be able to see the signs beneath the outer layer. A darkness beneath her eyes. A hollow quality to her usually full cheeks. Something has been affecting her and yet… she's been a less frequent sight around the Blue Nirvana the last few weeks, but she does disappear from time to time nonetheless. Work is usually the claim and sometimes, well: depending on where a movie might take her…

"Lincoln, I didn't forget about you." She's brushing her fingers over the display of the tablet, before turning the display so the young man can see. "I know it's a bit of short notice. I've been… out of touch a week or so. Next Tuesday, in the Vale. It's a bit of a ways, but…" Travel is, thankfully, free for the longest legs. "It's not much, but there's at least one speaking line. Possibility for more."

<OOC Note, I know there was more after I left, if someone can fill it in, that would be awesome.
