The Arion Oaks Ranch, operated by the Quellton family, has stood for three generations offering top quality horses for both war and work. The Ranch house looks homely, and looks like it probably could use a new coat of paint. The interior is minimalistic, very few pictures hanging on the wall, the couch looks very used. Their holovid looks to be close to ten years old. The kitchen is the biggest room in the house, which also encompasses the dining room. The pantry is filled with a bounty of home-canned fruits and veggies. In the middle of the dining room is a very large, redwood table. It looks like it could fit close to fifteen people. The master bedroom is neat with a large queen sized bed in the middle that have hanging on the bedposts. The middle room is mostly neat and organized, with a pile of bundled up clothes stuffed somewhere in a corner. There are posters of bands hanging up on the walls. The last room is much smaller, decorated in pinks and lavenders. Posters of woodland creatures hang on the walls and a small, stuffed drake sits on the bed.

Just outside of the house by the kitchen is a shed used for smoking and drying meat when the boys go out hunting.

Lastly, the stable looks considerably newer then the house, probably about ten years old, inside there are twenty-four stalls that were very obviously made for war horses. However, less than half of these stalls are empty. Surrounding the entire ranch is a metal fence as well as an electronic barrier, obviously meant to keep unwanted predators out, and to keep the horses in.

Balius Quellton is waiting at the entrance, the two horses prepared for viewing. It's a little chilly, but the weather has warmed up compared to the previous week's snowstorm. In his good green tunic and cloth pants, he's wearing a cloak over the whole set, smiling and in a good mood as he seems excited.

Stepping up next to her brother is Lorelei. She's dressed similar to her brother, and is patting both horses, muttering softly that they're fine, and look beautiful. "You ok there, Bey?" She'll give her brother a supportive smile.

Having taken the waygates to the nearest location, and then made their way over to the ranch, Sammel leads Elodie over to the buildings. Coming in on foot, since it would probably offend the horses that could have brought them here, if they took them to look at other horses, or something. "Looks quite nice," he remarks to his wife, before he leads the way over to where Balius and Lorelei are, offering them a smile and a nod.

Lookin garound her hand in Sammel's Elodie nods to assessment. "It does," she agrees, following him over to the Quelltons waiting for them. "Hello, Miss Lorelei, Master Balius. How are you this day?" Her eyes remain on the two people long enough to be polite, but then shift to the main reason for their visit, the horses.

Loree looks up and grins, waving to the two nobles, "Hello!" She and Bey both give the proper bows, "We're well. I hope the weather isn't making you home sick, Lady Elodie!" The two horses are in fine health, although they don't seem to like just standing in the cold. their coats are shiny and they're groomed to perfection.

Sammel smiles, "I'm glad to hear you are doing well, Miss Lorelei. And you as well, Master Balius." A brief pause and another nod and smile to the Quelltons, before he looks to the horses as well. "Two very fine horses," he remarks, after a few moments.

"Not homesick, yet, no." Elodie smiles at Lorelei's joke. "Sir Sammel's the horse expert here. I just see if they look pretty." She doesn't walk forward, yet, waiting for a cue from husband or owners.

"Please, come look. They're both broke, but haven't bonded with anyone." She'll give her brother a small glare, "Well…I've ridden them both quite a bit, but they're both good horses." Loree will lead the horses over to the nobles.

Sammel smiles as he hears that, nodding a little bit now, as he starts stepping forward, watching the horses as he does. "What are their names?" he asks, after a few moments of pause.

Now with permission, Elodie walks around the horses, gravitating to the smaller one, as she is the smaller of the two who will be riding. She holds out a hand, and if the horse seems to remain calm, she'll try and pet it's neck down near the withers.

Loree grins, "Well…I'm been calling them Stormy and Gail(ooc can be changed, I don't remember…). But they're young enough, names can be changed." Both horses seem calm, mostly just waiting to do something, so their standing in the cold. At the pets, the small one whineys and will knock it's head into Elodie, playfully.

Sammel smiles, nodding a bit as he moves over to pet the larger horse as well. "Quite a nice one, you," he says to it, before he looks to Elodie and the other horse. Looking back to the one he's petting, he studies the animal in front of him a bit carefully now.

Elodie chuckles and stumbles off balance a little bit at the unexpected head butt, but she does come around a little more to the front and scratches at the forehead and poll of the horse. "This is Gale?" she asks, glancing over to Lorelei with the question. "Can I ride her a little?"

Loree moves from Stormy, giving the stallion a pat over to Gale and Eldoie, "Absolutely. You can ride them around here, or if you'd like, we have a path cleared." which is probably why Bey is begin so quiet. He's out of breathe.

Wrangling horses and clearing paths is hard work after all, so the youngest Quellton is indeed out of breath. But he's smiling along. "Gale's taking quite nicely to ya, my Lady. That horse knows the trail as good as the stable here, so either option is entirely available."

"A little bit of a ride sounds like a good idea," Sammel offers, before he adds, "Both of the horses seem to think so as well, don't they?" Another pat to Stormy now, before he smiles, "Don't you agree?" he asks the horse now.

"I would like that. The trail maybe?" Elodie asks, looking over to Sammel. Her smile broadens a bit and she turns to Balius. "You think so? She is a beautiful horse."

Lorelei grins as the horses and Nobles seem to be getting along. "Bey and I can lead you, or you can go by yourselves, It's up to you, my lord and lady." She'll give Bey another smile.

"Gale's of the finest stock, my Lady. And I think you'll find, my Lord, that these steeds seem to settle themselves into new climates and terrains well. It's what we pride ourselves in their training. The forest provides a very natural setting for it. And, as Lorelei said, either option is available to you. The horses should make the way with minimal guidance." Balius grins, proud of the animals.

Sammel smiles, "The trail sounds quite good." A brief pause, before he smiles to the Quelltons again. "And I think it's good if the two of you would please lead us, just in case."

Elodie nods in agreement with Sammel. "We would appreciate the guide, yes," she agrees, her eyes shining with anticipation as she waits to get started.
