Blue District, The Ring
Stepping off the lift and into the Blue District is almost like stepping into another world. The senses are assaulted with a complexity of scents, sights, and sounds. Light that abscribes to the same hours as the rest of the Ring glows from insets in the dark metal ceilings. The Bazaar is one of the central hubs of the Blue District — also known as the Entertainment District. There are dozens of shops and emporiums that clutter around the outer edge of the bazaar with stands and kiosks making organized chaos of its center. There are some shops that have been there for generations, including the famous — if not a little infamous — Gregor's Strange Meats. This is the place to find the weird and the bizarre. It is known that the Blue District hosts the impoverish and underworldly inhabitants of the Ring, making it not only the most mystifying but also the most dangerous district on the space station. There are several corridor-like thoroughfares that branch off from the Bazaar, leading deeper into the District.
July 15th 3013: Morning

Not able to really sleep, like who could after a moment like that? Michael takes time to go to the bazaar, a place that has just as much a night life as it does a day life. Granted, the only reason anyone on the Ring knows what time it is, is the giant chronometers scattered about the place ticking away. Also, the lighting alters a little at night to give the impression of evening or night too. Clearly the Orelle put great thought into this when they designed it.

Michael takes to roaming the place he first met her, the places that set off this entire week and has lead to something he never imagined… but has alway hoped for. He is silent, and contemplative and has a boyish smile on his face.

Comming out of a local Diner, mostly because it's not ship's galley foood, Kaedin walks out and almost bumps into Michael. "Ease up there Mikey, you almost got ran over." he says patting the youth's shoulder with a smile. "How's your mother doing?" he asks, not having had a chance to visit her himself, both out of doing his duty to the system, and avoiding his own mother, who, ironicly, is now the medical doctor in charge of workong on Michael's mother…

Michael blinks and chuckles softly, his boyish smile not fading. "Hey there Lord Kaedin, good to see you. As for my mother, so far nothing yet… but your Lady Mother has shoo'd me away from where she's working, saying she'll comm me if anything." he pause, "Oh, and our mothers… are comparing our childhoods, just so you are prepared." he takes a step to be in a more comfortable conversational stance, and at an appropriate distance so he and Kaedin aren't mistaken by their closeness.

Kaedin smirks. "Well, the most my mother would have to complain about me would be that I couldent hold still as a child, that and the moment I could, I was off to squire under my uncle." he says and looks the youth over. "Somthing on your mind Mike? Johana running you to ragged?" He asks, offering a friendly ear for the squire to vent, or just talk, to. "Oh and just so you know, Roan is doing well, Lady Elodie has offered to help keep her well while I'm out fighting Hostiles."

Michael chuckles, "Apparently, we had disparate dimetrically opposed childhoods… in that I was a rather docile youth, and you weren't." then he shakes his head, that boyish smile growing a little more. "No, not Lady Sir Johana… Senator Nimara Demoore, my girlfriend." he pauses, "I asked her to the wedding for Lady and Lord Sirs Ellinor and Nikomachos, and then… we had a moment." he seems a little distant when he says that, as if in a slight dream still.

Kaedin chuckles and pats the youth on the back, maybe abit to hard, but in good humor. "Well congraduations. Everyone is getting married, that means I get more time to kill hostiles." he says with a smile, still dodging the marriage thing, even thoug hhe finaly broke down and let his mother try and fix him up, just, he is always busy… (suckers).

Michael laughs softly, "Well, Nimara and I aren't ready for that… but given time, who knows. It's been a week just about." then he notices Kaedin's avoidance, "I am curious why you haven't asked Sir Ordette… you two seemed kinda right together the other day. Oh, and thanks about Roan. I need to go and spend playtime with her at somepoint."

Kaedin blinks at the Young squire. "Odette isn't ever going to get married, she doesnt expect to be 'alive' by the end of the year, which, while it saddens me to have to listen to such talk… it's her way and I've accepted it. The woman just… doesn;t really have any sexual urge that I can tell, and if she does, she manages to do other things, like kicking ass, instead of the usual outlet for such urges." he says with a smile. "But I guess if there was one person I would pick… it would be her, only because we know eachother so well that the 'getting to know you' part of the whole foasco would be easy."

Michael blinks and tilts his head, "Alive? As in her family's tradition of death of the person they were when they join the Legion?" he ponders this for a moment, "Well, she is still woman… and there may come a point she can't fight those urges. Either way, she and you could surrogate easily enough. And then you'd both be set and free from impending marriages." he offers, though he doesn't mind if it's shot down or ignored. At the moment, he's just really happy about his own life. "You need to meet Nimara, Lord Kaedin, I hope to bring her to the Ring again to see my mother… perhaps we could handle three drakes with one knight. You visit your mother, while I visit mine and then you and my mother meet Nimara in the process."

Kaedin chuckles. "While that IS a good idea, You have to remember that any spare time I have is dealing with war things." And tending to his pets… he hasn't even been to see Nithya recently, though he should go see her soon… she does worry. "Anyway, any word on if the Ibrahms are going to be on a ramship? Space Combat an all that jazz." He says wit ha smile. "I wouldent mind Sir Johana and her brother, Sir Ravage, taking part."

Michael shrugs slightly, "I actually haven't spoken to any Ibrahms in a while… I haven't been in Obisia long enough to see any really. Every morning, when my tasks are complete, I usually leave and find myself here or there to train or study as I'd like. Mostly train. Then I have time to myself in the evening that I can usually spend with Nimara if her work permits."

Kaedin chuckles. "Busy day. Johana isn;t letting you our for any battles I take it?" he says with a smile as he walks along with the squire. 'I havent had anyone ask me about suqireing them, though, with as much danger as I put myself into… understandable that no one wants their child, or.. if they are an adult, themself, in that much danger." He says, a half grumble as he was in battles since he was fifteen years old.

Michael again shrugs, "I don't know how she feels on that subject now. Again, I haven't seen her in days. Nor have we comm'd the either, she has her own life to see to. I'm just the squire, so I get whatever time she feels like giving me." he shrugs a final time.

Kaedin pats the squire on the back. "Well hopefully things get better for you, in so far as the knightly training." he says. "But I'm sure Johana will speed things along, she isn't the type to neglect a squire, even if it is to dish out pain." he says with a smirk, pain does build character, he knows that lession all to well.

Michael chuckles lightly, "Perhaps… I'm not going to bother her. I know what I need to do as a squire, so that's what I'm doing. If she needs me for anything, she knows how to get a hold of me." he's taken this like an adult, with a child's bitterness just beneath the surface, granted with the advent of Nimara into his life, Michael has stopped caring all that much if Johana spends time with him or not. "It doesn't matter to me if she speeds up my knighting or not. I have a feeling that it'll take a lot longer than a month or so before she's made up her mind. So, for as long as I am her squire, I will continue to squire as I know I must." then his comm device beeps, and he blinks. "Speak of the lady knight… but not to meet, just new orders for the morning. I should go, so I can make sure I know where things are so I can continue my record task completion time."

Kaedin smiles and nods, patting the youth on the back. "Go do well, and send your mother my reguards." he says with a smile as he moves twoards a lift. "As for myself, I beleve there is a fluffy lazy cat who I should tend too." he adds as he turns and presses a button on the lift, vanishing as the door closes.
